Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 is the 2024 Marvel Studios live-action feature film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is a sequel to Deadpool 2 and the third movie in the Deadpool film series.

Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as the title character. Hugh Jackman is also confirmed to be playing Wolverine in the picture. 

Emma Corrin (The Crown) is reportedly playing the villain of the film. 

Other new cast members include Matthew Macfadyen (Succession).

Returning from previous films are Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Rob Delaney as X-Force survivor Peter, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Katsuna as Yukio.

Shawn Levy, who directed Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project, is on board to direct. 

Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin (Bob's Burgers) wrote an early draft of the screenplay. The latest word is Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the first two, are returning to pen the third.

During a January 2021 press tour, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige confirmed they are developing the film, that it will be R rated and that it will bring the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
