Deadpool 3 Hires Hugh Jackman, Sets Release
Deadpool 3 has a release date and a fan-fave guest star.
Leading man/producer Ryan Reynolds dropped a bomb on social media in a post laden with multiple reveals.
He posted a characteristically humorous video about his struggle to make the character's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe special.
Coming up empty he finally turns to actor Hugh Jackman and asked if he's up for playing Wolverine one more time. Jokes aside, this is apparently a legit casting reveal.
The reel also pegs the release date for the movie at September 6, 2024.
Netflix Backs out of Grendel Series
The planned TV series based on Matt Wagner's comic Grendel is not going forward at Netflix.
Deadline reports that the streamer, who had ordered an eight-episode first season last year, has now pumped the brakes on the project.
The show is fully cast with Abubakr Ali in the lead. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) is the writer and Exectutive Producer.
The producers at Dark Horse Entertainment are said to be shopping the project elsewhere.
