Jaimie Alexander Set for Thor 4 Return
Actress Jaimie Alexander is rumored to be among the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder, according to a report from Deadline. The actress originated the role of Sif in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, and even reprised it on episodes of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.. She was, however, conspicuously absent from Thor: Ragnarok and the Avengers movies that followed. Reportedly, she may also appear in the Loki series for Disney+. While Marvel Studios had ample opportunity to break or confirm this news during their press day yesterday, so far they have not.
Warner Media Takes Some Vague Action on Justice League Complaint
The bizarre and continuing beef between actor Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. of allegations of "gross, abusive" behavior on the set of the Justice League reshoots has been handled. Maybe. Sort of? Deadline reports that Warner Media has issued a conclusory statement about their internal investigation into the vague-post complaints aired by the actor against fill-in director Joss Whedon as well as producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns.
The statement reads: "WarnerMedia’s investigation into the Justice League movie has concluded and remedial action has been taken."
Fisher seems to be scoring this as a win, tweeting out, "There are still conversations that need to be had and resolutions that need to be found. Thank you all for your support and encouragement on this journey. We are on our way. More soon. A>E." Fisher has employed the "A>E" signature on all posts about his crusade as shorthand for "Accountability is greater that Entertainment.
