Fisher Levels Charges of Racism at Whedon, Producers
In an interview posted on Forbes, actor Ray Fisher has elaborated to a significant degree on his issues with director Joss Whedon, producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg and Warner Bros. studio about his issues with the movie Justice League.
To recap past events, Fisher had gone public with vague accusations of "gross, abusive" behavior on the part of Whedon with regards to the film's reshoots. He later widened the targets of his complaints to include Joss and Berg, without adding specifics. In September, Warner Bros responded publicly that their investigation found no wrongdoing and that Fisher wasn't exactly cooperating. Fisher then went public with his reasons for not working with the WB investigator.
Now, Fisher is getting more specific about his accusations, saying that it wasn't creative differences, it was racism. Fisher suggests that in trimming the film, the offending parties reduced or eliminated several people of color from the film, made racist comments behind closed doors and even tweaked skin tones in post edit.

The Boys is #7 This Week
In its fifth week in the Nielsen top 10 streaming titles The Boys moves from #6 to #7 for the week of September 28 to October 4. The Amazon Prime show lost only a small fraction of its viewing time, with the series clocking 655 million minutes of eyeball attention. That's down a bit from the previous window where it had over 700 million. Prime's weekly release of the series saw it adding episode 7 of season two in this window.
The weekly roll-out makes The Boys an outlier, with the remaining top 10 being Netflix series that drop full seasons at once. It'll be interesting to see if the comic-based show enjoys an uptick in the next window, when the eighth and final episode drops, giving bingers the greenlight to tackle the entire season.
It's a weak showing across the board as the #1 spot for this period went to Schitt's Creek with just 968 million minutes of viewing. Last week's #1 show, Ratched, fell to #5 and the prior #2 Enola Holmes plummeted all the way to #10.
