Marvel Chief Confirms Spider-Man 4 Development
Marvel Studios top dog Kevin Feige has confirmed the news that Spider-Man: No Way Home is very likely not the final Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Stories that there were more Tom Holland-starring pictures coming were in the works broke three weeks ago when producer Amy Pascal indicated that Marvel and Sony Pictures planned to make another three films together. At the time, there was no independent corroboration of the story from either studio.
On Friday, Feige confirmed that Spider-Man 4 is in the works to the New York Times. "Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about — yes, we’re actively beginning to develop where the story heads next," Feige said in a quote appearing on The Hollywood Reporter (surfaced from the pay-walled NYT report), continuing, "which I only say outright because I don’t want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after Far From Home. That will not be occurring this time"
The "separation trauma" Feige refers to is the rift between the studios where it seemed for a few months in 2019 that their period of collaboration had ended.
No Way Home sets a new paradigm for Peter Parker and Spider-Man, seeding the fourth film with plenty of fodder for story.
Matt Reeves Drops Motion Poster for The Batman
Director Matt Reeves has tweeted out a cool motion poster for his upcoming film The Batman. The image fades in as a profile shot of Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight, in the rain, as ominous music plays. As the lighting slowly increases, the shape of the profile image gradually forms a question mark, the call sign of The Riddler (Paul Dano). There may be more to this key art than just an interesting design as the final image is laden with cryptic symbols which (we're certain) some fan out there is decoding as we speak. Could this be another IRL scavenger hunt like we saw promoting The Dark Knight? Stay tuned.
Marvel Studios Hawkeye | Yelena Character Poster

Watch the final episode. Wednesday on Disney+.
