Gal Gadot Says Wonder Woman 3 is Still In Discussion
With the birth of DC Studios last year, rumors quickly spread that a third outing of Wonder Woman featuring Gal Gadot was not going to happen.
Now Variety reports that the franchise may continue under the new studio.
Word come from Gadot herself who revealed, "From what I heard from [James Gunn] and from [Peter Safran] is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."
Gunn and Safran were appointed co-chairs of the new studio, which aims to develop a more cohesive, hit-making universe similar to the success of Marvel Studios. Part of that effort involves shedding previous DCEU franchise and revamping them entirely, as they are doing with Superman: Legacy and Batman: The Brave And The Bold.
However, it also appears some DCEU franchises will continue forward under the banner, such as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Blue Beetle and, apparently Wonder Woman.
