Superman: Legacy

Superman:Legacy is a 2025 DC Studios live-action feature film based on the DC Comics character of the same name.

David Corenswet (Pearl) is cast as Clark Kent, aka Superman. Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) is set for Lois Lane.

Also cast are Isabela Merced (Madame Web) as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi (X-Men: First Class) as Mr. Terrific, Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad) as Green Lantern Guy Gardner and Anthony Carrigan (Gotham) as Metamorpho.

James Gunn (of The Guardians of the Galaxy film series) is directing the movie from his own screenplay, which will forego the origin story but deal with the Man of Steel's early days. Gunn is also the Co-Chairman of DC Studios.

"This is really the start of the DCU," says co-chief Peter Safran.

The movie will delve into Clark's need to balance his Kryptonian heritage with his learned humanity. "He’s the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way," Safran sad. "He’s kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old fashioned."
