Sofia Hasmik Joins Superman & Lois Cast
Entertainment Weekly reports that actress Sofia Hasmik has joined the cast of Superman & Lois. The series, a spinoff of Supergirl being prepped for The CW, adds Hasmik as a recurring character named Chrissy Beppo, who is a journalist at the Smallville Gazette. (Oddly "Beppo" is also the name of supergirl's pet super-chimp in the comics). Hasmik was last seen as a recurring character in the Mad About You revival.
Skeet Ulrich Says, "Goodbye" to Riverdale
Actor Skeet Ulrich posted a farewell message to Riverdale fans on Instagram earlier today. The actor will be exiting the series during its fifth season, which is currently in production. Today was Ulrich's last day on the set.
Lucifer and The Boys Remain in Ratings Top 5
Nielsen has published the streaming ratings for the week of September 14th to the 20th and it's not good news for anyone. Comic based ratings champs Lucifer and The Boys remain in the top five, but both saw reductions in viewership.
Lucifer is the #4 ranked show in this window with 869 million minutes of viewing time, down from 1.1 billion in the previous window. Five seasons of Lucifer have been available on Netflix since August.
The Boys is #5 with 743 million minutes of viewing time, down from about 1 billion minutes last week. Amazon Prime made the fifth episode of season two of the show available during this window.
Netflix's newcomer Ratched claimed the top spot on the charts but only had 972 million minutes of viewing. That's down at least 50% compared what the #1 show has typically seen in the rankings. Corbra Kai and The Office, both on Netflix, were #2 and #3 respectively.
