Look for Benedict Cumberbatch to warm up the cloak of levitation for a guest apperance in Sony/Marvel's third Spider-Man MCU film. Deadline reports the the actor will do the work on the film before launching into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with former Spider-Man director Sam Raimi. Lucifer, The Boys in Ratings Top 4
The two comic-based shows that are hot on streaming right now slipped in the Nielsen ratings chart for steaming the week of September 7th to the 13th.
Lucifer, based on the DC/Vertigo title, drops from #2 to #3 this week, with about 1.1 billion minutes of viewing time. That represents a slight drop from last week when the five seasons on Netflix racked up 1.5 billion minutes.
The Boys, Amazon Prime's top-ranked show, fell from #3 to #4, in spite of increasing viewership. That series, which aired its fourth episode of season two inside the ratings window, enjoyed over 1 billion minutes of viewing time, up from the nearly 900 million last week. Prime's episodic rollout of the show definitely creates an obstacle for competing with the numbers on Netflix's complete-season drops.
Cobra Kai showed no mercy, holding the #1 spot for the second week in a row with about 1.6 billion minutes, while the new Netflix space-travel series Away launched into the #2 spot with close to 1.5 billion minutes.
