Lucifer Lords Over All Streaming Charts
The drop of the second half of season five of Netflix's Lucifer has placed it at the top of all Nielsen streaming charts. The new block of episodes arrived during the week of May 24 to May 30, earning the comics-based series a whopping 1,284 million minutes of viewing time. That includes all 83 episodes that make up the series. That was enough to make it #1 on the Original chart and to outperform all programming on the Acquired and Movies charts as well.
This is not surprising news. Last week, before the new episodes, the show was #6 on the previous charts.
Also ranking on the Original chart is the swiftly-cancelled Jupiter's Legacy. The show ranked #8 on the Original chart in this window with 214 million minutes of viewing time against its eight episodes. That's a 33% reduction for its fourth week, but still pretty impressive for a show Netflix had no confidence in.
