Mike Flanagan Adapting Something is Killing the Children for Netflix

Netflix has its streaming eye on BOOM! Studios hit comic series Something Is Killing The Children, according to a write-up from The Hollywood Reporter. Trevor Macy and Mike Flanagan, who produced the streamer's horror hit The Haunting of Hill House, are co-writing and executive producing the adaptation under their Intrepid Pictures banner. Executive producing for BOOM! are Stephen Christy, Ross Richie and Mark Ambrose. The comics creators James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera will serve as co-executive producers.

The story revolves around the town of Archer's Park where children are disappearing at an alarming pace. Then, a young woman named Erica Slaughter arrives to show the town how to kill the monsters that plague them.
