Thunderbolts Adds Steven Yeun
Actor Steven Yeun is the latest addition to Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts movie.
Deadline reports that Yeun, well-known to readers here for starring in The Walking Dead and Invincible, is set for a significant role in the film that will likely put him in other MCU pictures. The villain of the film has yet to be disclosed, so could Yeun be playing Doctor Doom?
The movie features a team of less-reputable super-humans that we've seen in previous Marvel movies, out for redemption by doing the government's dirty deeds.
Marvel currently had Thunderbolts slated for a July 2024 release.
Dark Creators Board Something Is Killing The Children
Netflix's long-gestating effort to develop Boom! Studios' comic Something is Killing the Children has taken a new turn, according to a report from Deadline.
The streamer has booked Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese to produce the project as a TV series. Odar and Friese are the German writer-creators of the twisty and well-received series Dark as well as last year's ambitious 1899.
The move comes as part of a new development deal between the pair and Netflix.
The series had previously been set up with Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy, who have had a hot-streak with Netflix, developing shows like The Haunting and Midnight Mass. However, the duo is no longer attached.
