The WGA Strikes Like Lightning on Marvel's Thunderbolts Movie
Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts is the latest movie to have to pause production due to the WGA writers strike.
Deadline reports that the film, which was to commence production next month, is now on hold. Plans are to resume work when the strike has ended.
Jake Schreier is directing the pic which assembles a crew of redemption-seeking superhumans from the MCU to form an elite strikeforce.
Marvel has taken similar actions on the planned Blade reboot and the upcoming Wonder Man TV series.
Thunderbolts is currently slated for release in summer of 2024.
