Titans: First Look at Blackfire
The official twitter for the TV series Titans released a first look at the costume design and execution for season 3 character Blackfire. The images include the costume design illustration by concept artist Gina DeDomenico and costume designer Laura Jean Shannon. The second image shows actor Damaris Lewis wearing the actual costume. Blackfire is the hawkish older sister of Starfire (Anna Diop). Season 3 doesn't have a start date yet, but when it arrives it'll play on HBO Max.
Shazam! 2 Adds Rachel Zegler
Actor Rachel Zegler has joined the cast of New Line Cinema's Shazam: Fury of the Gods according to a report from The Wrap. The article does not specify who she'll be playing but apparently it is a key role. Zegler will be seen as the female lead in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story.
WandaVision Hits Top 5
Marvel Studios' debut TV series WandaVision has moved up in the latest Nielsen Ratings report. For the week of January 25 to January 31 the show ranked #5 in the Original series listing. That's an upward move from #7 the week before. With 4 episodes available the Disney+ show enjoyed 431 million minutes of viewing time, over 14% more than the previous week. Episode four was one of the more buzzed-about episodes which felt like a shift away from the sitcom gimmick and firmly embraced its MCU setting.
The #1 show was, once again, Bridgerton while the #2 slot went to Fate: The WInx Saga.
