Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again is a 2024 Disney+ TV series from Marvel Studios adapting the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The show employs the same key cast as the Netflix Daredevil series, but is said to be an in-MCU reboot.
Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, who starred in the Netflix series, are reprising their roles of Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) and Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin) respectively. A March 2023 report has Jon Bernthal reprising his role as The Punisher as well.
Also cast in the series are Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark), Margarita Levieva (The Deuce), Sandrine Holt (The Expanse) and Nikki M. James (Severance).
In the months prior to the series announcement, D'Onofrio was seen as Fisk in Marvel Studios' Hawkeye, while Cox cameoed as Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox then showed up in several episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as a love interest, this time sporting the Daredevil costume. There is also a report that both actors will appear in Marvel Studios' Echo. It remains to be seen how all this ties together.
At D23 Expo in September 2022, Cox told reporters that the series is a new start and should not be thought of as season four of the previous series.
Matt Cormam and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs) are writing and executive producing the new series, which will reportedly have 18 episodes. Michael Cuesta (Dexter) is directing the first episode.
