Daredevil Casts Michael Gandolfini

Actor Michael Gandolfini is the first new cast member to join Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again TV series.

Deadline reports that Gandolfini's role is unknown but may be a character called "Liam" who is an ambitious status climber from Staten Island.

Gandolfini is best known for starring in The Many Saints off Newark, in which he played a young Tony Soprano, the character originated by his father James Gandolfini in The Sopranos.

The series will see Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio continuing the roles they originated on the Netflix Daredevil series, and have reprised in the MCU as well. Daredevil: Born Again is due on Disney+ in Spring of 2024.
