Titans Casts Titus Welliver as Lex Luthor
With production on Titans season four coming soon, EW.com has the scoop on a major piece of casting: actor Titus Welliver is filling the role of Lex Luthor for the series.
Welliver's acting resume is too long to list, with key roles in series like Lost, Deadwood and, most-recently Bosch. He's also a player in the MCU having appeared in the Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 and on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Apparently he's a fan of comics in general and an avid watcher of Titans. Showrunner Greg Walker told EW, "You usually have to do this whole dog-and-pony show to get an actor to do the show, but when I called to kind of lure him in, I could barely get a word in. We were talking on the phone and he was just walking through his library, telling me about all his Wolfman/Perez Titans editions."

Daredevil: Born Again is a Reboot, Not a Sequel
Actor Charlie Cox talked to Extra about his much-hyped return in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again TV series, and answered one major fan question. The series, he says, is a fresh start in the MCU and not a continuation of the Netflix series.
"It is a Season 1, it is not Season 4," Cox is quoted as explaining that this is what Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige pitched to him, "so it is a whole new thing. Which I think is the way to go. If you are going to do it again, do it differently.”
When it comes to story specifics, Cox had fewer answers there. "I haven’t seen a script," Cox said, "My feeling is, based on the title ‘Born Again,’ I think that the sense is it is a new beginning, it is going to be different, it is going to be totally different. It is going to be new stories, and new ideas."
The new show is due on Disney+ in Spring of 2024. Cox's Daredevil will next bee seen in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
