Madame Xanadu is a planned live-action TV series based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
Angela Robinson (True Blood) is set write and executive produce the show. J.J. Abrams is also producing under his Bad Robot development deal. Ben Stephenson and Rachel Rusch are co-executive producers.
The character most recently appeared in live-action as a character on the Swamp Thing series where she was portrayed by Jeryl Prescott.
The series was initially in development for HBO Max. However, in September 2022, news broke that the streamer was dumping the project. However, this project is still said to be in development, with the producers seeking a new outlet.
