Ironheart (TV Series)
Ironheart is the 2023 Marvel Studios live-action TV series for Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
Dominique Thorne is set to play Riri Williams, a teenage genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.
Anthony Ramos (The Bad Guys) is playing the series antagonist, The Hood. Lyric Ross (This is Us) is set as Williams' best friend.
Also cast are Alden Ehrenreich (Solo), Manny Montana (Mayans M.C.), Zoe Terakes (Nine Perfect Strangers), Regan Aliyah (XO, Kitty), Shakira Barrera (GLOW) and Rashida Olayiwola.
Rumored cast members include Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto.
Sam Bailey (Brown Girls) and Angela Barnes (Atlanta) have been hired to direct episodes. Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian are producing for Proximity Media.
Chinaka Hodge is the head writer for the series and also executive producer.
