Lucifer Draws More Streaming Ratings
The Nielsen Ratings Service has published the streaming ratings for the week of September 20th - 26th.
This week Lucifer is the only comic-based content to rank in any chart. The Netflix series tempted eyeballs for 830 million minutes of viewing across its six seasons and 93 episodes. That's a loss of almost 54% over the previous week's monster showing. It's still enough to make it #2 on the Original Programming chart, and #2 across all charts.
The Disney+ series Marvel Studios' What If...? earns the dubious distinction of being the first Marvel Studios product to fall completely off the charts before its initial season is complete. The show pushed its seventh episode (featuring Party Thor) during the window, but failed to ring up more that 224 million minutes of viewership. With increased competition from Apple TV+ shows, which were added to the ratings mix this week, the animated series did not rank in the Top 10 on the Original Programming chart.
The top performer this time out was Netflix's sensational Squid Games which topped all charts
