Wonder Twin Powers DEActivate! The Movie is Cancelled
Just a month after the lead roles were cast, news comes from the newly restructuring Warner Bros. Discovery that the Wonder Twins movie is not going forward. Variety reports that new WBD corporate commander David Zaslav has pulled the plug on the expensive pic as part of his promised cost-cutting measures. Word is Zaslav is scrutinizing all big-ticket projects and asking the hard business questions about profitability before going forward.
The movie was slated for HBO Max and had K.J. Apa and Isabel May in the title roles.
