Superman & Lois, The Flash and Riverdale All Renewed by The CW

Today, The CW announced a handful of early renewals for their slate of programming leading into the 2022-23 broadcast season. Among them, three of their top comic-based shows are greenlit to return. Superman & Lois is coming back for a third season. Riverdale is set for season seven. The Flash is coming back for a whopping season 9.

Conspicuously absent from the list are Batwoman and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which aired their current season finales earlier this month. Also missing is newcomer Naomi, which has been running in tandem with Superman & Lois during its inaugural season. This doesn't mean these shows won't be renewed, but they aren't part of today's announcement.
