Beebo Gets Animated Holiday Special
The CW has announced a trio of holiday specials and among them is one spinning out of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Beebo Saves Christmas will put the spotlight on the furry blue war God of the Arrowverse. The special is slated for the holiday season this year.
The network provides this synopsis for the show:
"Everyone’s favorite fuzzy toy turned furry god will once again be a hero as he hopes to save Christmas. When Sprinkles, an efficiency-obsessed elf, decides that Christmas would run better without Santa Claus, Beebo and his friends travel to the North Pole to help discover what truly makes Christmas meaningful.
"Starring Ben Diskin as the voice of Beebo, Kimiko Glenn as the voice of Tweebo, Yvette Nicole Brown as the voice of Turbo, Keith Ferguson as the voice of Fleabo, Chris Kattan as the voice of Sprinkles, Ernie Hudson as the voice of Santa and Victor Garber as the narrator. Beebo Saves Christmas is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and is written by Matt Maala and Kevin Shinick and executive produced by Sam Register, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Phil Klemmer, Grainne Godfree, Marc Guggenheim and Keto Shimizu."
The CW Sets Fall Schedule
The CW has unveiled its Fall programming schedule which features lots of changes for returning comic-based series.
The Flash will keep its Tuesday night slot at 8pm for season eight, but will initially be paired with Riverdale season six at 9pm.
In a big shift, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow moves to Wednesdays at 8pm for season seven, While Batwoman airs its third season episodes at 9pm on the same night.
DC-based shows like Superman & Lois season two, DC's Stargirl season three and the just-announced Naomi will be held for 2022 mid-season starts.
