The Batman Wraps
After significant shut-down delays the drawn-out principal production on The Batman has wrapped. Director Matt Reeves tweeted the news out this morning with a photo of his final clapboard from the effort. It'll be another year before fans see the franchise reset, starring Robert Pattinson. It's not due out until March 4, 2022.
Avatar Topples Avengers Endgame
In July of 2019, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame become the top-grossing movie of all time, beating out James Cameron's Avatar. Now, with Cameron's sci-fi epic enjoying a resurgence on screens in China, it has reclaimed the title. Honoring the event Marvel Studios has issued a congratulatory tweet:
Marvel's message was soon augmented by one from the Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of Endgame, who tweeted out their own congrats using an image created by famed digital artist BossLogic.
