Sony Developing Faust Animated Series

One of the edgiest indie comics of the 1980s has been optioned by Sony Pictures Television for development as an animated series. Deadline reports the studio has picked up the rights to the super-violent, sometimes pornographc Faust from series creators David Quinn and Tim Vigil. They've tapped Matteo Pizzolo of Black Mask Entertainment to write the series adaptation under his first-look deal with Sony. Quinn and Vigil are consulting producers. Brian Giberson is executive producing for Black Mask.
