Bad Robot Developing Constantine for HBO Max
Deadline reports that J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot company is developing a reboot of Constantine for HBO Max. Guy Bolton is writing the show which will start with a young version of the character in London. In a break from the comics, the lead role is said to be "diverse" (woke doublespeak for "not white") which means fan-favorite Matt Ryan will not reprise the role he played in the previous Constantine TV series and continued on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
Georges St-Pierre Confirmed For Falcon and Winter Soldier
Actor and MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre has confirmed he'll be appearing in the upcoming Marvel Studios series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. In an interview with Variety, St-Pierre said he's excited to return to the role of Batroc, the leaper. The French martial-arts agent is a part he first originated on the big screen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. There new series debuts on Disney+ March 19.
Marwan Kenzari Joins Black Adam Cast
Actor Marwan Kenzari has joined the cast of New Line Cinema's Black Adam film, according to a report by Heat Vision. The role that Kenzari, who was seen in last year's comic-based The Old Guard on Netflix, has not been specified. Production on the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, is set for April of this year.
Superman & Lois Poster: Jonathan Kent
The social campaign for Superman & Lois has published another character poster. This one features Jordan Elsass as Jonathan Kent, one of the title couple's young sons. The series debuts on The CW February 23.
