Constantine (TV Reboot)

Constantine is a planned TV series based on the DC/Vertigo character John Constantine.

J.J. AbramsBad Robot company is developing the series which Guy Bolton is writing. The storyline will start with a young version of the character in London.

In a break from the comics, the lead role is said to be "diverse" (woke doublespeak for "not white") which means fan-favorite Matt Ryan will not reprise the role he played in the previous Constantine TV series and continued on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

The series was initially in development for HBO Max. However, in September 2022, news broke that the streamer was dumping the project in favor of a feature-film revival. However, this project is still said to be in development, with the producers seeking a new outlet.
