Venom 2 Release Pushed Back
Variety reports that Sony Pictures has, once again, pushed the release date of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film will now release on October 15 instead of September 24. The ever-fluid pandemic environment is cited as the reason for the latest delay.
Y: The Last Man Character Posters
The social campaign for Y: The Last Man has published a slew of character posters for the upcoming series. There posters feature cast-members Ben Schnetzer, Ashley Romans, Olivia Thirlby, Diane Lane, Amber Tamblyn, Juliana Canfield, Diana Bang and Marin Ireland, each shrouded in shadows. The new show arrives September 13 on FX On Hulu.
Loki Series Is #2
Marvel Studios' Loki is still the top comic-based title in the Nielsen streaming ratings for the week of July 12-18th. The Disney+ series ranked #2 on the Original programming list for the week that it dropped its sixth and final season one episode. It enjoyed over 1 billion minutes of viewing time for the period, which is about the same attention it received the previous week.
The series was #3 across all charts trailing behind Virgin River and Manifest, both from Netflix.
Lucifer continued its strong run pulling 284 million minutes for the week. That's a drop of about 20% from the previous week. It is enough to make the Netflix show the #8 Original streaming series.
Black Widow also continued its run on the Movies chart. The Disney+ Premiere offering saw 444 million minutes of viewership, which is a drop of about 18%. The film ranked #3 on the Movies list
