Daily Blast: WandaVision Sticks at #2

WandaVision Sticks at #2

For the Nielsen Ratings period in which the series finale aired, Marvel Studios' buzz-worthy WandaVision did not reach #1 in the Streaming Originals chart as some had hoped. The show did improve its audience size for the week of March 1st - 7th, growing to 924 million minutes of viewing time, earning it the #2 spot for the second week in a row. The number represents is a 26% bump over the previous week. It's likely a share of the audience for this show was waiting for the entire run to be available before binging.

It was not enough, however, to unseat Netflix's Ginny & Georgia, which held the #1 spot for the second week.

On the Streaming Movies chart for the window, The Dark Knight makes a surprise showing for this period. I ranked #8, due to its availability on Netflix. The film enjoyed 176 million minutes of viewership.
