Blade Director Leaves Project
Director Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) is no longer directing the Blade movie for Marvel Studios.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that, with just weeks to go before the scheduled November production start, Marvel is confirming that Tariq's schedule will not allow him to helm the feature.
According to the report, the project has suffered a few production delays, with the script currently being reworked by Beau DeMayo (Moon Knight).
Tariq remains involved as an executive producer on the film. The movie is currently slated for a November 2023 release.

Yesterday's bombshell announcement that Hugh Jackman is entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Deadpool 3 raised a ton of fan questions.
