Scott Pilgrim vs The World is the 2010 film adapting the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series created by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is a young musician who falls in love with edgy delivery girl Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). As their Romance unfolds Scott realizes he'll have to battle her seven ex-loves to win her heart. The movie also features Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Kieran Culkin, Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Allison Pill, Ellen Wong, Satya Bhabha, Shota Saito, Keita Saito and Mae Whitman.
Like the graphic novel, the movies is infused with an anime/manga vibe, which characters and situations slipping in and out out of over-the-top fantasy.
Edgar Wright directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Michael Bacall. The move received mostly-positive reaction from critics and is well-liked by fans of the books.
