Mercy Sparx (Film)

Mercy Sparx is a planned MGM feature film based on the Devil's Due Publishing comics of the same name created by Josh Blaylock.

The publisher site describes the concept as "a devil girl living on Earth in both human and devil form. Did we mention she's working undercover for Heaven? She hunts down angels that have gone rogue whenever she's called in to work. But, in the meantime, Mercy's just drinking whiskey and chain smoking until she's assigned to take down an angel that has fallen."

Nick Shafir had initially been tapped to write a script. As of April of 2022, Laura Kosann had been hired to write a new script.

Producers include Jack Heller of Assemble Media and Alex Heineman and Andrew Rona of The Picture Company. Blaylock serves as executive producer with Assemble’s Scott Veltri.
