Isle of the Dead Retitled as Dead City

The Maggie/Negan spin-off of The Walking Dead has a new title. According to EW.com the show will now debut under the title The Walking Dead: Dead City.

AMC TV announced the series back in March with the title Isle of The Dead, and even released some key art with that verbiage.

The series will find Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in an uneasy alliance, navigating a post-walker Manhattan island that has been abandoned by all but the worst of humanity. It is set to debut next year.

The Umbrella Academy Gets Final Season

Deadline reports that Netflix has given the greenlight to a fourth season of The Umbrella Academy. Scripts have apparently been written for what will be the final run of the streamers successful superhero track.

Season three wrapped with the world saved (once again) but the characters emerging in a new timeline where Reginald Hargreeves appears to be a hyper-successful Lex Luthor-esque mogul, and the siblings have no super-powers.

Aquaman, Shazam Release Dates Pushed

Warner Bros. Discovery have pushed the release dates on two major DC Extended Universe titles, according to Deadline.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods had been slated for December 21 of this year. It is now rescheduled for March 17 of next year. The move is, in part, to get the move out of the way of Avatar: The Way of Water. It also fills the empty spot left by the next rescheduling.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had previously inhabited that March date. However, the film needs more time to polish up its post-production effects, and is now kicked out to December 25, 2023.
