Hellboy: The Crooked Man

Hellboy: The Crooked Man is a planned Millenium Media feature film based on the Dark Horse Comics series of the same name created by Mike Mignola.

The cast includes Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2) as Hellboy, Jefferson White (Yellowstone) as Tom Ferrell and Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as Bobbie Jo Song.

Brian Taylor (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) is directing, from a script by Mignola and Christopher Golden (who frequently collaborate in comics).

According to the publisher, the source comic is set in 1956, somewhere in the mountains of West Virginia, where Hellboy encounters Tom, a man who in his youth sold his soul to a backwoods demon known as the Crooked Man. Together they travel back into the dark heart of the Appalachian mountains to confront that demon and see if Tom's soul can't be saved.

Mike Richardson is producing for Dark Horse. Jeffrey Greenstein, Jonathan Yunger, Les Weldon, Rob Van Norden and Yariv Lerner are producing for Millenium. Mignola, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson and Tanner Mobley are executive producers Lati Grobman and Christa Campbell are also executive producers for Campbell Grobman Films. Sam Schulte is co-producing for Millennium.

Production is expected to begin in spring of 2023.
