Jack Kesy is The New Hellboy

The lead role in the just-announced Hellboy: The Crooked Man has been cast, according to a report from Deadilne.

Jack Kesy is booked for the title role as the demon boy adopted and raised by humans. Kesy was seen recently in the Amazon Studios film Without Remorse, but is best known to readers here for his turn as Black Tom in Deadpool 2.

Development is moving fast on the project, which has a script by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden with Brian Taylor (Crank) directing.

Filming is expected to begin in a few months.
