El Muerto (Film)
El Muerto is the planned live-action Sony Pictures Entertainment feature film based on the character of the same name originating in Marvel Comics Spider-Man titles.
Plans for the film were announced at CinemaCon in April 2022.
Grammy-winning recording artist/actor Bad Bunny (aka Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) is attached to star in the film.
Jonás Cuarón (Desierto) is directing the film from a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Blue Beetle).
In the Marvel comics, Juan-Carlos Estrada is a second-generation luchadore who wrestles in an enchanted mask that grants him super strength. He fights Spider-Man in the ring, but eventually the pair team-up to take down Estrada's familial nemesis El Dorado.
