Umbrella Academy Tops Charts For Second Week in a Row
Season two of The Umbrella Academy topped the new Nielsen ratings chart for SVOD Programs for the second week in a row. The numbers were down from last week, with 1.8 billion minutes viewed during the week of August 10th to August 16th. That's still almost double the #2 streaming program, which is one again Shameless. Noteworthy for fans of superhero fare is the Netflix movie Project Power, taking the #4 spot with about 900 million minutes of viewership.
Shivaani Ghai Cast in Batwoman 2
Actor Shivaani Ghai has been cast in the role of what might be the primary villain of season two of Batwoman, according to a report from Deadline. Ghai will play Safiyah, a shadowy villain whose name has been mentioned throughout season one as an antagonist of both Alice (Rachel Skarsten) and Julia Pennyworth (Christina Wolfe).
