January 24
Batwoman season 2, episode 2, "Prior Criminal History" airs on The CW. After her quick spin in the Batgear, Ryan Wilder is back to facing the daily challenges of life as herself. Meanwhile, Alice has a new, devious plan to get the attention of both Gotham and Safiyah (guest star Shivaani Ghai). With Kate still missing and the city in an uprising, Luke and Mary are desperate to find a stand in. In a pinch, Ryan dons the suit again and comes face-to-face with Alice for the first time. Back at Crows Headquarters, Sophie and Commander Kane try to uncover who may have had a vendetta against Kate.

Season Premiere Snowpiercer season 2, episode 1, "The Time of Two Engines" airs on TNT. Mr. Wilford arrives and threatens Snowpiercer, so Melanie makes a move that can't be undone.
January 26
Batman: Soul of the Dragon becomes available on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray. Set in the midst of the swinging 1970s, this Elseworlds adventure finds Bruce Wayne training under a master sensei. It is here that Bruce, along with other elite students, is forged in the fire of the martial arts discipline. The lifelong bonds they form will be put to the test when a deadly menace arises from their past. Snowpiercer season 1 becomes available on Blu-Ray. Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation.
Doom Patrol season 2 becomes available on Blu-Ray. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by The Chief, while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.

Series Premiere Resident Alien season 1, episode 1, "Pilot" airs on SYFY. An alien (Alan Tudyk) hiding in a small Colorado town meets the locals when they ask him to help solve a murder in this adaptation of the the Dark Horse Comics title created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.
Riverdale season 5, episode 2, "The Preppy Murders" airs on The CW. Betty and Jughead’s investigation into The Auteur takes a twisted turn after receiving a call from Bret (guest star Sean Depner). Meanwhile, Archie is forced to make an impossible decision when the person responsible for his father’s death needs his help. Elsewhere, Veronica and Hermosa (guest star Mishel Prada) come up with a plan to force Hiram into early retirement, and Cheryl makes a business move.
January 29
WandaVision - season 1, episode 4 available on Disney+. Wanda is pushing back on the outside forces trying to penetrate the technicolor dream world.
