Gyllenhaal to Topline Adaptation of Liefeld's Prophet
Actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-man: Far From Home) is attached to star in a feature film adaptation of Rob Liefeld's comic Prophet, according to a report from Deadline. The movie also has Sam Hargrave (Extraction) on board to direct from a script by Marc Guggenheim (Arrow). The film focuses on John Prophet, a man vested with superhuman strength after being subjected to illicit experiments by the Germans in World War II. Jeff Robinov and John Graham are producing for Studio 8. Adrian Askarieh is producing for Prime Universe. Liefeld and Brooklyn Weaver are also producing.

The social campaign for Marvel Studios What If...? has released what may be the final piece of poster art for season one of the series. The image depicts Gamora, Party Thor, Doctor Strange Supreme, Captain Carter, Black Widow, Star-Lord T'Challa and Emperor Kilmonger, assembled together as the Guardians of the Multiverse. Kathryn Hahn Sets Disney+ MCU Series
Plans are afoot to spin the Agatha Harkness character from WandaVision off into her own Disney+ series, according to a report from Variety. Actor Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as the ancient black magic user. At the end of the originating series, the character was cursed by Scarlet Witch to maintain her meddling neighbor persona for the rest of eternity at the conclusion of that series. Jac Schaeffer, head writer of WandaVision, is set to serve as writer and executive producer here.
