Agent Carter becomes Captain Carter? T'Challa becomes Star Lord? Superheroes become brain-eating zombies? Marvel Studios' What If...? remixes and reimagines the MCU's biggest moments in animation.
Along with the official trailer above, Disney+ also released a new poster previewing some of the storylines that fans can expect. Visible are the Captain Carter and Iron Man figures from the World War II storyline, T'Challa from the remixed Guardians of the Galaxy storyline, undead Hawkeye and Captain America from the Marvel Zombies story, a character who appears to be Vision in a knight's suit of armor, Gamora carrying Thanos' sword, Black Widow with a twist that is not immediately apparent, and Spider-Man wearing what looks to be Doctor Strange's cloak. In the center of it all is The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright).
The series starts August 11 on Disney+.

The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) hosts a series stories plucked from the far-reaches of the Marvel multiverse. Each story looks at a classic plot point from the movies or comics and alters it: Peggy Carter becomes Captain America, T'Challa becomes Star Lord, and so on. Regular players from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are lined up to provide voices for their respective characters on this series.
