Prophet (Film)

Prophet is a planned live-action feature film based on the Image Comics / Extreme Studios title of the same name, created by Rob Liefeld.

Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home) is attached to star in the film. 

Sam Hargrave (Extraction) is directing. 

Kurt Johnstad is the latest screenwriter developing the script, following Marc Guggenheim (Arrow) who wrote an earlier draft.

The film focuses on John Prophet, a man vested with superhuman strength after being subjected to illicit experiments by the Germans in World War II.

Jeff Robinov and John Graham are producing for Studio 8. Adrian Askarieh is producing for Prime Universe. Liefeld and Brooklyn Weaver are also producing.
