Loki Season 2 and Echo Get Release Dates
Marvel Studios have revealed release dates for two of its much anticipated series at the Disney Upfront presentation today.
Loki will launch its second season on October 6 on Disney+.
Meanwhile, the Hawkeye spin-off, Echo is set for November 29.
Both series were promised for Summer of this year, so the dates represent a bit of a delay. That's not unexpected though, as the studio suggested earlier in the year that Disney+ was slowing the release cycle for Marvel shows.
This likely also means that Ironheart, Agatha: Coven Of Chaos and What If...? season two are all delayed into 2024.
Venom 3 Adds Chiwetel Ejiofor
Chiwetel Ejiofor is the latest cast member to join Sony Pictures Entertainment's franchise film Venom 3.
The casting has not been confirmed by Sony and details of his character are as-yet unknown.
Ejiofor is familiar to fans of this site for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Baron Mordo in the Doctor Strange films. Since Doctor Strange's magic temporarily brought Tom Hardy's Venom into the MCU, and sent Michael Keaton's vulture into the Sony Spider-Verse, it's entirely possible that rival magician Mordo could find his way to the Spider-Verse too.
He's joining Hardy and Juno Temple in the film. The movie does not yet have a release date.
