Loki is #1 Again, More Comics Series Rank
Marvel Studios' Loki is the #1 show on Nielsen's list of Original streaming content for the second week in a row. For the week of June 21 to 27, the series gathered 713 million minutes of viewership with only three episodes posted. That's actually a 20% decrease over the numbers the Disney+ show did the previous week.
Lucifer continues to be a ratings champ for Netflix. It enjoyed 603 million minutes of eyeball time. That's a 14% decline from the previous week, but still enough to keep the #2 spot on the Originals chart.
The newbie comics-based series Sweet Tooth also continued its strong debut. It enjoyed 359 million minutes of audience attention.That is a decrease of almost 43% making it the #5 Originals in its fourth week of release.
Meanwhile, over on the Acquired Programming chart, Black Lightning did some business for Netflix. With all 58 episodes available it pulled in 278 million minutes of viewership, making it #10 on that chart.
Kaiju Score Gets Brightburn Writers
Writers Brian and Mark Gunn have been hired to pen that adaptation of the AfterShock Comics title The Kaiju Score, according to a report from Deadline. The comic focuses on a heist whose plans are disrupted by a giant monster attack near the mark. The Gunns are cousins, with Brian being the brother of James and Sean Gunn. The pair have previously written scripts for Brightburn and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. The project is set up at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Superman & Lois Sets Blu-Ray Release Deate
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the release of Superman & Lois: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray and DVD on October 19, 2021. The Blu-Ray will include 1080p Full HD Video with DTS-HD Master Audio for English 5.1, with all 15 episodes from the first season in high definition.

The press release reveals the title of the final episode of the season as "The Last Son of Krypton," which were guessing will air on The CW August 17.
