Paramount Powering Up Harbinger Movie
Paramount Pictures is gearing up to turn Valiant Entertainment's Harbinger comics into a feature film, according to a report from Deadline. Wes Ball (The Maze Runner) is attached to direct the film. Andrew Lanham (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is writing the script. The project had been set up at Sony, and possibly moved after that studio's Bloodshot failed to launch their Valiant-verse. The premise finds a group of teenagers, called "harbingers," whose emerging superpowers make them the target of a global business mogul Toyo Harada.
Neal Moritz and Tobe Jaffe are producing for Original Film. Ball and Joe Hartwick Jr. are producing for Oddball Entertainment. Dan Mintz is producing for Valiant.
