Hawkeye Ranks #2 In Its First Week
The Nielsen Ratings numbers for streaming titles the week of November 22 - 28 are out. Not unexpectedly, Marvel Studios' Hawkeye was the top performer with regards to comics-based fare. The Disney+ series debuted at #2 on the Original programming chart. It targeted 853 million minutes of viewership on its two debut episodes. That was also enough to make it the #3 item on the overall chart, trailing the Netflix film Red Notice, and the Netflix series True Story.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings also continues to attract viewers for Disney+. The movie attracted 613 million minutes of eyeball time. That's a decline of 30% over the previous window, but enough rank #3 on the Movies chart, down one spot. It also ranks #9 on the overall charts, down six spots.
In other streaming ratings, Titans continues to attract new viewers on Netflix. Season three of the series enjoyed 12.5 million hours of viewing, making it #5 on Netflix's self-reported English-language TV chart for the week of December 20 - 26. That's a loss of 47% from the previous week.
For the same time period, Netflix reports Spider-Man: Homecoming was the #5 movie, earning 20 million hours of watchers. That's a climb up from the previous week where it ranked #6.
