The much-discussed feature film version of Blue Beetle now has a release date. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has set August 18, 2023 as the theatrical debut for the movie. Angel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings) is directing the film from a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai) is cast as the lead, Jaime Reyes who bonds with an scarab like alien weapon.
