It's all about DC Comics hero power this week with two new series and a movie in this are-you-talking-you're-like-a-mile-away round up of C2Fs coming the week of March 12, 2023.
March 14
Season Premiere Superman & Lois season 3, episode 01, "Closer," airs on The CW. Season three of SUPERMAN & LOIS opens weeks after Superman’s blowout defeat of Ally Allston. Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small town life. But the Kents’ romantic bliss only shines a light on how isolating “the secret” can be, as Chrissy struggles to balance a new love interest and her friendship with Lois. However, Lois’ own work-life balance is put to the test when an undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the Kent family forever. Superman would move heaven and earth for his family, but with a villain this merciless, even that might not be enough. Meanwhile, the Kent boys find themselves being pulled in opposite directions. Amid all this upheaval, John Henry is haunted by his doppelgänger’s past, leading to dangerous consequences for him and Natalie. Lana Lang and Kyle redefine their family post-separation, while Sarah explores what the future holds for her and Jordan now that she knows the truth about his powers. Having learned the hard way that no one else can be trusted to work with Superman, General Samuel Lane reclaims his post at the Department of Defense, only to face his own conflict in working with his grandson, Jordan. Series Premiere Gotham Knights season 1, episode 01, "Pilot," airs on The CW. Batman is dead, and a powder keg has ignited Gotham City without the Dark Knight to protect it. In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his adopted son Turner Hayes is framed for killing the Caped Crusader, along with the children of some of Batman’s enemies: Duela Doe, aka The Joker’s Daughter, an unpredictable fighter and skilled thief who was born in Arkham Asylum and abandoned by her father, Harper Row, a streetwise and acerbic engineer who can fix anything, and her brother Cullen Row, a clever transgender teen who is tired of being polite and agreeable. With the charismatic and hard-charging District Attorney Harvey Dent and the GCPD hot on their trail, Turner will rely on allies including his best friend and formidable coder Stephanie Brown, and unlikely Batman sidekick Carrie Kelley. But our Knights will soon learn there is a larger, more nefarious force at work within Gotham City. This team of mismatched fugitives must band together to become its next generation of saviors known as the “Gotham Knights.”

The Flash season 9, episode 06, "The Good, The Bad and The Lucky," airs on The CW. As Barry and Iris prepare for their new life, luck changes for those in Central City. Cecile takes on a case with Allegra’s help, involving a string of unfortunate – and highly unexpected – events. Meanwhile, Chester and the team work with Khione to figure out her abilities.
March 16
Kick-Ass 2 available on Netflix. The world's least super super-hero returns in this bombastic sequel.
March 17
Theatrical Premiere Shazam! Fury of the Gods available in Theaters. Continuing the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word SHAZAM!, is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam. The old Gods have come to reclaim the powers that Billy and his family now possess.
Spidey and His Amazing Friends season 2, episode 16, "Spin Saves the Day / Water Woes", available on Disney Junior. When Miles accidentally puts his own arm to sleep with his arachno-sting, he must find a new way to help the team. Then, someone has stolen all the water from the city.
March 18
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur season 1, episode 09, "Skip Ad…olescense," airs on Disney Channel. Lunella creates a device that allows her to fast forward through mundane chores and tasks, but she struggles to handle the unexpected side effects. Former NASA astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison guest stars as Skipster.
