August 8
DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 6, episode 11, "The Final Frame" airs on The CW. When the Legends track down another Alien pod, they find a device that transports them to a cosmic bowling alley. Before consulting Sara, Astra and Rory, Spooner makes a bet against the reigning champs for a ride back to the Waverider, but not everyone is happy about the plan when they realize what they are up against. Elsewhere, Nate plans a romantic date for him and Zari, but nothing goes as planned. Meanwhile, Behrad and Gary try to distract Ava, from what’s going on with wedding planning.
August 10
Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two available on Blu-Ray. As the Dark Knight's hunt for the Holiday Killer continues, an ally is transformed into a master villain in this second part of the animated adaptation of the epic storyline.
Season Premiere DC's Stargirl season 2, episode 1, "Summer School Chapter 1" airs on The CW. With the Injustice Society defeated, Courtney questions if there's a need for her superhero career to continue in this season opener to the fan-favorite DCU series.
Superman & Lois season 1, episode 14, "The Eradicator" airs on The CW. Lois is worried about Jordan as he and Sarah continue to grow closer. Meanwhile, Clark pays Lana a visit. Lastly, Jonathan has been spending more and more time with John Henry.
August 11
Series Premiere Marvel Studios' What If...? season 1, episode 1 available on Disney+. In the multiverse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe certain things are changed. What if Peggy Carter got the Super Soldier serum while Steve Rogers got a suit of armor from Howard Stark?
Series Return Riverdale season 5, episode 11, "Strange Bedfellow" airs on The CW. In the aftermath of the prison break at Hiram’s jail, Archie leads the charge to round up the remaining convicts on the loose. Tabitha reaches out for Betty’s help when she realizes Jughead is missing. When Penelope (guest star Nathalie Boltt) re-enters the fold, Cheryl becomes suspicious of her true intentions.
August 12
Season Premiere Titans season 3, episode 1 airs on HBO Max. Nightwing has arrived to defeat Deathstroke, marking a new beginning for the troubled heroes as a new season begins.
August 6
Spidey and his Amazing Friends Season 1, episode 3, "Doc Ock’s Super Octopus / Attack of the Green Giggles" available on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. When Doc Ock’s growth serum is used on a baby octopus, the Spidey team must stop it from rampaging into the city. Then, when Green Goblin blasts goblin gas all over the city, Spidey and Ms. Marvel work together to ensure that he doesn’t have the last laugh.
