August 22
The Walking Dead season 11, episode 2, "Acheron: Part II" available on AMC+. The group discovers a member did not make it to safety inside the subway car. Surrounded by walkers, going back out into the tunnel to search is a guaranteed death wish. All eyes are on Negan as the rule of survival shifts. It is no longer No Man Left Behind. The motto now is "We Keep Going." With very little ammo and energy remaining, the group must ready themselves as the walkers have found a way inside the subway train. Meanwhile, Daryl is in his own intense hellish situation trying to find Dog and finding more than he expected; and Yumiko challenges the process at the Commonwealth outpost, which threatens her future and that of Eugene, Ezekiel, and Princess.
Broadcast Season Premiere The Walking Dead season 11, episode 1, "Acheron: Part I" airs on AMC. Returning to Alexandria from a critical food mission, the group realizes it isn’t enough. Maggie proposes a new plan, potentially a suicide mission. What choice do they have? They must find more food for all their people in order to survive and efficiently rebuild Alexandria. If they don’t, Alexandria falls, taking them down with it. Once on the road, a violent storm erupts forcing them underground into a subway tunnel. As nerves fray and suspicions increase, chaos ensues. The terror is relentless as our people get a glimpse of what Maggie and her group endured prior to returning to Alexandria. Meanwhile, those captured by the strange soldiers are relocated to another undisclosed location.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 6, episode 13, "Silence of the Sonograms" airs on The CW. With the Legends on high alert with their unwanted guest in their custody, Ava is tasked with the interrogation while Nate and Sara watch. Rory is struggling with the terrible pain in his head and Gary tries to help to manage it the best he can. Meanwhile, Zari enlists Astra and Spooner’s help to figure what is going on with Constantine.
August 24
DC's Stargirl season 2, episode 3, "Summer School Chapter 3" airs on The CW. After getting a taste of the superhero life, Mike pleads with Pat to let him join the team. Elsewhere, after seeking help from Thunderbolt, the JSA prepare for a confrontation with The Shade.
Series Return Supergirl season 6, episode 08, "Welcome Back, Kara!" airs on The CW. As Supergirl and Zor-El (guest star Jason Behr) make their return to National City, they are determined to keep the Phantom Zone behind them and enjoy being superheroes together. Unfortunately, their overzealous efforts backfire, creating a whole new threat to National City.

Marvel Studios' What If...? season 1, episode 3 available on Disney+. Disney+ keeps us guessing -- and this is just a guess -- but perhaps it'll be the Marvel Zombies episode this week.
Riverdale season 5, episode 13, "Reservoir Dogs" airs on The CW. While helping Eric (guest star Sommer Carbuccia) deal with his PTSD, Archie is forced to confront his own past trauma in the Army. To find the Lonely Highway killer, Betty and Tabitha come up with a way to lure truckers to Pop’s. Cheryl extends an invitation to Kevin and Veronica gives Reggie a shot to prove her wrong.
August 26
Titans season 3, episode 5, "Lady Vic" available on HBO Max. Crane enlists the help of lethal assassin Lady Vic, who has a troubled history with Dick and Barbara. Meanwhile, Kory and Gar bring Blackfire back to Wayne Manor.
August 27
Spidey and his Amazing Friends Season 1, episode 8, "Pecking Prankster Pigeons / Green Thumb" available on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. Green Goblin uses a remote to control the city’s pigeons so they will steal for him. Then, Green Goblin invents a weather machine to wreak havoc on the city.
