October 20
Marvel's Spider-Man - season 2, episode 20, "Brand New Day" airs on Disney XD. When a series of attacks by a suspected team of super-villains captures The Avengers, Spider-Man is left to figure out who could be behind it.
Batwoman - season 1, episode 3, "Down Down Down" airs on The CW. As the city waits impatiently for another visit from who they think is Batman, Alice (Rachel Skarsten) continues to taunt Kate (Ruby Rose) with a secret but also sets her sights on Jacob (Dougray Scott) and Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis). Kate is visited by Tommy Elliot (guest star Gabriel Mann), a childhood friend of her cousin who has finally realized his lifelong dream of being wealthier than Bruce Wayne and throws a party so all of Gotham can celebrate his success. Mary (Nicole Kang) gets an unexpected new bestie when Sophie (Meagan Tandy) is assigned to protect her. Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Kate work together to uncover who may have taken a valuable weapon from Batman's arsenal. And as Batwoman faces a new enemy, Kate realizes she must either walk away from her new role or fully embrace the mantle as Gotham's new hope.
Supergirl - season 5, episode 3, "Blurred Lines" airs on The CW. Kara tries to mend her relationship with Lena; J'onn J'onzz goes deep into his memories; Kelly tries to help an old friend.
The Walking Dead - season 10, episode 3, "Ghosts" airs on AMC. The threat of the Whisperers return leads to paranoia sweeping over Alexandria; in the meantime, Carol battles with the need for revenge.
Watchmen - series debuts on HBO. The hotly-anticipated TV continuation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' ground-breaking graphic novel. In an alternate America where police conceal their identities behind masks to protect themselves from a terrorist organization, Detective Angela Abar investigates the attempted murder of a fellow officer under the guidance of her friend and Chief, Judd Crawford. Meanwhile, the Lord of a Country Estate receives an anniversary gift from his loyal servants.
October 21
Black Lightning - season 3, episode 3, "The Book of Occupation: Chapter Three" airs on The CW. When Lynn learns that Jefferson brokered a deal with Agent Odell without consulting her first, it begins to put a strain on their relationship; Anissa and Grace have an emotional encounter.
October 22
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines - available on 4k Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD. Rosario Dawson stars in this animated feature film updating the origin of Wonder Woman.
The Kitchen - becomes available as a digital release. Based on the DC/Vertigo comics series, this movie stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elizabeth Moss as three wives in the Irish mob of 1978 who step up to take control of the business when their husbands are sent to jail.
The Flash - season 6, episode 3, "Dead Man Running" airs on The CW. Barry prepares a member of Team Flash for life without him while hunting a terrifying meta-human with an unquenchable thirst; Ralph uncovers a family secret.
Arrow - season 8, episode 2, "Welcome to Hong Kong" airs on The CW. Oliver (Stephen Amell), John (David Ramsey), Laurel (Katie Cassidy Rogers), and Tatsu (guest star Rila Fukushima) seek out an important person within The Monitor's (guest star LaMonica Garrett) plan. Connor (Joseph David Jones) has a heart to heart with his brother (guest star Charlie Barnett).
October 23
Riverdale - season 4, episode 3, "Chapter Sixty: Dog Day Afternoon" airs on The CW. Things take a dangerous turn when Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Charles (guest star Wyatt Nash) track down Edgar (guest star Chad Michael Murray) and his Farmies. Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) hold a car wash fundraiser at Pop's to raise money for the community center. Elsewhere, Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) first day at Stonewall Prep doesn't go as planned. Lastly, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) learns a dark family secret from Nana Rose.
October 25
Titans - season 2, episode 8, "Jericho" airs on DC Universe. There's just not much to say about Jericho.
